The tartan patterns below are associated with the Hope family in Scotland. Since the Hopes were lowland Scots, there was no one tartan pattern for the "clan" or family as was common practice in the Highlands. Also many lowland "districts" adopted a distinctive tartan pattern, and as in the "Hopetoun" tartan, for a particular estate.
